Description

A small group of girls and women walk pass the Washington statue on the left side of it. Six men work on the grounds around the statue's base. The sculpture and fountain known as "Venus rising from the sea" or "Maid of the Mist" can be seen on the left side of the image. Boats can be seen in the lagoon at the point where the bridge crosses. The Soldiers and Sailors Monument in the Boston Common can be seen above the trees. The State House dome can be seen with the Beacon Hill neighborhood extending to the left of it.
