Description

Two framed albumen prints of Hinkley and Williams Works locomotives. Both photographs were taken by photographer J. W. Black in Boston, Massachusetts. They are dated circa 1870.

Both prints have "Hinkley and Williams Works, / Boston, Mass." printed underneath the image. One of the prints also has J. W. Black printed undernearth. On the left side of the recto the following is typed:
"CYLINDERS, 17 x 24. /
DRIVERS, 5 feet 6 inches. /
WEIGHT, 33 Tons.

On the right side of the recto the following is typed:
ADAMS AYERS, President. /
F. J. BULLARD, Treasuerer. /
H. L. LEACH, Superintendent."
