Description

Series V, Financial records, 1890-1938, undated (#5.1-14.10, 15.1-15.5, 15.8, 19.7, 19.10, 38.1-40.9, C.2.13-C.2.17, C.3.18-C.3.19), contains an account book; accounts paid (hand-written on index cards); other account records (including account sheets, financial correspondence, investment statements, etc.); bank statements with cancelled checks; check registers; daybooks; and paid receipts. The records reflect Anna's financial management of the family household in Salem, Massachusetts; the family farm in Topsfield, Massachusetts; and Anna's contributions to charitable organizations and membership fees. Also included in the series is a 1916 Schoenhof Book Company (Boston, Massachusetts) pamphlet regarding French books for sale (#14.9). The series is arranged alphabetically by records type, and thereunder chronologically.
