This large leather-bound Bible, with heavily foxed pages, (Holbrook’s Stereotype Edition, circa 1820) contains a family register between the Old and New Testaments which is marked by a cross-stitched bookmark embroidered "From AEL." (Ann Eliza Lane?) The register lists the date Oliver G. Lane’s marriage, children’s names and dates, along with children’s marriages and lists of children’s children. A transcription of these entries is available for reference.
