Description

This 10 x 11-inch paperboard album includes individual paper pages of pressed flowers and plants. A name printed on the cover, "Eliza Robison" is possibly a misprint of the name Robinson.

Some of the specimens are very fragile and have losses. Some pages show small handwritten verses along the stems of the specimens and several of the plants were identified. Many plants remain unidentified. There is no information about where the plant specimens were collected. A small handwritten note was included within the album, and provides dates and names for Eliza Robinson (1828-1901).

This album was removed from Barrett house on April 13, 2026 for long-term preservation.
