Description

Ticket No. 40746 and attached stub to attend the Coliseum Promenade Concerts on Oct. 21st, 1869, held at the Boston Coliseum (originally built for the National Peace Jubilee). The front of the ticket has a decorated border and an illustration of the Coliseum building with people promenading outside of it. The reverse of the ticket lists the terms and conditions for the ticket's usage, including involvement of the disassembly of the Coliseum beginning on Oct. 23rd, 1869.
