Text on the verso reads "Sheahan's good mottos make the world bright." Sheahan, a printer and publisher, created postcards illustrating mottos. The postcard has a commemorative series 1907 stamp for the founding of Jamestown, Virginia. John Smith is the figure in the stamp.
