Advertisement includes paint chips with recommended color schemas. Pure Prepared Paints were sold to the public as a semi-paste to which purchasers added their own linseed oil as a cost-saving measure (Historic New England Magazine, Winter 2021, backpage). Note on frame states Pure Prepared paints for sale locally by E. M. Wright & Co. in Orwell, Vermont.
