Rectangular dressing has projecting front corners; overhanging top with molded edge; apron with carved surface in front only and front corner blocks with carved quatrefoils; three graduated drawers with bail handles and key escutcheons; projecting round columnar front stiles with fluting and carved acanthus leaves at base; skirt with carved foliage in front; molded panels on sides; and short tapered fluted cylindrical legs with ring cuffs. Title, design notes, and "Made for C. Vanderbilt 28030" are handwritten on drawing.
