William and Mary-style corner chair has tall rectangular back with recessed panel; arched crest rail with carved scrolls and foliage at center; cabriole stiles with scrolled ends and carved acanthus leaves at top; carved scrolls under lower back rail; flat curved arms with rounded ends; round columnar arm supports with ring turnings; trapezoidal upholstered seat with single row of metal tacks along lower edge; narrow molded seat rails; four rectangular legs; H-stretcher from back to front with rectangular back and middle sections; and carved front section of stretcher with central medallion enclosing floral motif and flanking flared supports. Title, "Det. "6210" and "in Billiard Room / W. B. Schiller 15 May - 1903 / 43303" are handwritten on drawing.
