Design drawing titled "The Kendrick Reception Chair" rendered in pencil on trace. Front and side views are shown. Neoclassical-style side chair has rectangular crest with concave top; splat composed of seven vertical turned rods joined at center by small square plaques; narrow lower rail; straight columnar stiles with ball finials; straight seat rails; tapered legs with slightly raked rear legs; stretchers on all sides and the top stretcher being higher; and rectangular plaque above center of front stretcher. Inlaid, painted or carved decoration includes swags on crest rail and quatrefoils on splat and above front stretcher. Title, design notes, "11391 detail" and "Copied from old detail R. W. J. / J. B W. Dec. 22 - 1906" are handwritten on drawing.
