Neoclassical-style side chair has shield-shaped back; pierced splat composed of two flaring vertical ribs with foliate, scroll and swag motifs; curved stiles; upholstered seat; front seat rail with serpentine bottom edge and carved, painted or inlaid central foliate motif; raked square tapered rear legs; and molded tapered square legs with cuffs in front. "3362" is handwritten on drawing.
