Historic New England is completing a phased project to address structural concerns and masonry deficiencies identified and prioritized in a 2024 assessment of existing conditions at the Eustis Estate.

About the Eustis Estate

The Eustis Estate mansion, built in 1878, is an elaborate and stately three-story masonry building with an irregular plan and a rare example of a stone dwelling by local architect William Ralph Emerson. Its construction is a fusion of Romanesque Revival and Queen Anne styles, sited prominently on a hilltop and overlooking a bucolic, planned landscape.
