Description

Series V: Photographs primarily consists of images of garden displays and flower arrangements encountered by Elizabeth (Tyson) Vaughan (1871-1949) during her involvement with the Garden Club of America and other horticultural organizations. The photographs in Subseries A depict displays and presentations at specific flower shows. The remainder of the photographs (Subseries B) include landscape and outdoor views, portraits, and images of the Toy Collection at the Essex Institute (Salem, Mass.) The series is arranged in two subseries.
