The pamphlets describe materials that can be knit for soldiers fighting in the first World War, for example sweaters, socks, wristlets, and scarves. Each clothing item comes with a photographs, materials needed, and detailed insturctions on how to knit it. Also included in the pamphlet are some pages with handwritten notes describing knitting patterns and needles used.
