Description

Series contains thirteen photographs of the Walter M. Cabot House located in Sherborn, Massachusetts. The photographs depict the south elevation, the walled garden, the dining room, the living room, the library, and two bedrooms. It also includes a small archival envelope containing Weber's signatures which were removed from the original mounts prior to acquisition by Historic New England. A number of the locations are featured from various different angles.

Conservation Note

The photographs in this collection were originally mounted on heavy paper and signed. Prior to being acquired by Historic New England, the photographs were removed from their original mounts and dry mounted to matte board. Photographer Paul Weber's signatures were cut off and stored in an envelope with the rest of the collection.

Paul J. Weber was a renowned landscape and architectural photographer. He worked for a large portion of his life in the Boston area and had an office at 68 Kenwood Street in Dorchester, Massachusetts.
