Description

Mounted sketch of a staircase in Mr. Wade's house completed in ink. Sketch depicts the front door, the entrance hall, and the staircase. The identity of Mr. Wade is unclear, as is the location of the house where the staircase would be located. The sketch was completed by Bradlee, Winslow & Wetherell, Architects, an architectural firm in Boston, Massachusetts. Their stamp, although faded, can be seen on the bottom recto of the sketch. The sketch is dated circa 1880.
