Eight albumen stereographs depicting interior and exterior views of A. & W. Sprague's store in the Elmwood neighborhood of Providence, Rhode Island. This was the storefront for the A. & W. Sprague Manufacturing Company. Views include a street view of the storefront, a view of the loading docks, and six interior views of the store with products displayed, including clothing, furniture, footwear, and more.The stereographs were taken by the Manchester Bros., located at 73 Westminster Street in Providence, Rhode Island. The stereographs are dated circa 1860 and measure 3 1/2 x 7 inches. On the verso, both read, "VIEW OF / A. & W. SPRAGUE'S STORE, / ELMWOOD, R. I." and "Manchester Bros., / 73 Westminster Street, / Providence, R. I."
