One albumen print of the Wells-Adams House on Salem Street in Boston, Massachusetts. The photographer is unknown. The print is dated to the late 19th century and measures 7 x 10 inches.The house was built circa 1680. The building was demolished in 1894 along with numerous other historic buildings located in the North End. On the verso of the mount, the following is written: "1. Wells House Salem St. Built 1680 of timber- grown on the spot. Best example in Boston of overhanging stories." In a different hand, the phrase "from Baker, Oct. 1952." is written along the right side of the verso.
