Description

This subseries includes glass plate, nitrate, and acetate or nitrate negatives of flag and celebrations of flags in New England. Many of the flags featured in the negatives are American flags. The negatives depict a flag day celebration on the Boston Common, a memorial service in Fenway Park, flags at Police Supt. Crowley's funeral, flags on a ship, and flags on display in Nahant, Massachusetts. Negative 1225 is a nitrate negative and has been removed to box 19, container 000017835.
