Sargent's Sons catalogs and competitor catalogs, print engravings of Charles Grandinson Sargent with the original engraving plate as well as engravings of the original Sargent Mill, an engraved drawing of a parallel rake wool washer, and one framed photo. The catalogs in this series are from competitors in Boston, Lowell, North Andover, New Hampshire, New York, and England. Catalogs from both the Sargent Corporation and its competitors include parts lists with basic illustrations, print engravings of machines, and extensive technical descriptions of machine's functions. Sargent's catalogs also feature testimonials from customers. No prices are listed in any of the catalogs.
