Series includes architectural drawings, correspondence related to mill expansion and city planning and a bound scrapbook containing photographs and drawings of C.G. Sargent's Sons compiled by an unknown party. Architectural drawings were primarily created by architectural firm Cherrington & Cherrington. The scrapbook does not appear to be organized chronologically, and the drawings and photos are not consistently labelled. The architectural drawings largely relate to the 1864 rebuilding and expansion of the original Sargent mill, and include both original plans and blueprint copies.
