Description

Scrapbook containing materials dated 1935 to 1936.The materials include clippings from a variety of newspapers and journals which relate to an impostor posing as Royal Barry Wills after he stole a gold medal awarded to Wills in 1934 for a national design competition. The thief, Daniel W. Kingsbury, ran up debts in numerous cities, married a woman under Wills' name, and was eventually captured in Jacksonville, Florida.
