Design drawing titled "Secretary Desk of Mahogany" rendered in pencil on trace. Front and side views are shown; plan of interior pigeonhole arrangement is also provided. Neoclassical-style secretary-bookcase has broken scroll pediment with carved rosettes and central flame finial; upper case with three adjustable interior shelves, glass doors, wood muntins arranged in a geometric pattern, and molding at bottom; lower case with hinged slant-front with key escutcheon concealing an inner writing surface, ten pigeonholes, two visible drawers, and one secret drawer; two lopers with round pulls; three graduated drawers, each with key escutcheon, two bail handles and bat-wing plates; shaped skirt; and bracket feet. Title and design notes are handwritten on drawing.
