Sixth-plate daguerreotypes of a girl (4-5) wearing a plaid outfit and pantaloons. She is standing next to a brocade covered table. The image was made by Jeremiah Gurney, a jeweller, inventor and author who learned daguerreotypy in the spring of 1840 and was active in New York into the 1850s. Cased with D.6.148.
