Description

Ornate marriage certificate for George A. Mann and Helen Ewen, dated November 1, 1877. They were married by the Reverend H. Bixby; the witnesses to the ceremony were Asenath R. Gage and Laura A. Bixby. Surrounding the text of the certificate is a frame of flowers, vines and a Gothic style design. There are two depictions of a marrigage ceremony inside windows in the frame.
