Description

One black-and-white photographic print of the interior of the grandfather clock in Mr. and Mrs. Roland Newhall's house at 123 Central Avenue in Southbridge, Massachusetts. The grandfather clock was located in the dining room of the house. The house was one of seven three family houses built by the American Optical Company for workers and their families.The houses are part of the Twinehurst American Optical Company Neighborhood, a residential historic district. The photograph depicts a grandfather clock and floral curtains. The photograph was taken by photographer A.H. Pease circa 1920.
