Description

Stereograph depicting an interior view of A. & W. Sprague's store located in the Elmwood neighborhood of Providence, Rhode Island. A store counter is pictured, and merchandise such as baskets, boots, and canned food products are visible. Unidentified employees and customers are pictured on either side of the counter. Dated circa 1860. Photographed by Manchester Bros., a photographic firm located in Providence. The following can be found on the verso: "INTERIOR VIEW OF / A. & W. SPRAGUE'S STORE, / ELMWOOD, R.
