Stereograph depicting an interior view of A. & W. Sprague's store located in the Elmwood neighborhood of Providence, Rhode Island. Depicts a food counter with fruit, vegetables, poultry, and fish, both on and behind the counter. Three unidentified employees are visible behind the counter, and one unidentified individual with a blurred face can be seen in front of the counter. Dated circa 1860. Photographed by Manchester Bros., a photographic firm located in Providence. The following can be found on the verso: "INTERIOR VIEW OF / A. & W. SPRAGUE'S STORE, / ELMWOOD, R. I." and "Manchester Bros., / 73 Westminster Street, / Providence, R. I."
