Description

Front side of trade cards has color lithograph of an adult elephant washing a baby elephant next to a box of Ivorine, with the caption "Washing the Baby". Front also says "copyright 1900 by the J.B. Williams Co., Glastonbury, Conn." Verso details the benefits of using Ivorine Washing Powder, saying "When You Wash the Baby, Use the cake of White Glycerine Toilet Soap, found in every package of Ivorine Washing Powder" next to an image of a woman bathing an infant. Lithograph is by Kruger & Lehnhardt of New York.
