Description

Design drawing titled "Double Pedestal Dining Table of Mahogany" rendered in watercolor and pencil. Perspective view is shown. Neoclassical-style extension dining table has rectangular top with rounded corners and deep skirt with reeded bottom edge; two pedestals each withh four round Doric-style columns on a base; rectangular pedestal base with concave sides; and eight downswept legs with carved acanthus leaves and reeding which terminate in brass caps and casters. Title and dimensions are handwritten on drawing. Blind stamped at lower left corner: "Irving and Casson / A. H. Davenport Co. / Boston - New York."
