"Wood Box of Oak"

Description

Design drawing titled "Wood Box of Oak" rendered in pencil and colored pencil on trace. Front and side views are shown. Drawing depicts a rack for holding logs of firewood. Rack has raised rectangular box form with open ends; low front with scrolled arched top and straight apron; end supports with bracket feet and scrolled apron; and four faceted vasiform turned posts with faceted ball finials which lean outward. Painted red and green. Title, design notes, "11296" and "Made for Mr. Croll 41060" are handwritten on drawing.
